So How Does a Retainer Work?

At the beginning of each month you will receive an invoice for the amount of hours you have contracted. You may purchase as many hours as you'd like (subject to availability), though the minimum amount of hours you may purchase is 10.

Once your invoice is paid, work begins and time is tracked. You will be updated weekly as to how many hours have been used and will be given an itemized report at the end of each month. All reasonable efforts will be made to ensure all purchased hours are used. Any unused hours do not roll over to the following month.

In the event purchased hours have been exhausted before the month is over and you have projects or tasks that need attention, you may purchase additional hours (subject to availability) at the ad hoc hourly rate indicated in your service agreement and billed at the end of the month.

And What is the Benefit of a Retainer?

Working together on a retainer basis ensures there are no surprises. I am able to budget my time so that I am available to you for recurring tasks as well as those little fires that inevitably pop up and need to be put out. It allows us both to budget the finances in our businesses and plan accordingly. You will never be surprised by an invoice at the end of the month and can easily plan ahead for the busier (or slower) months.

If you have a question that I haven't answered here, or need further clarification don't hesitate to ask! I'm more than happy to help!
